This time last month I mentioned in a blog entry how so many people at Killearn Country Market had heard about our plan to offer B&B in a shepherd’s hut, even though we had only just announced it.
In that entry, made on the 5th of November, I also recorded how we had taken our first booking for the shepherd’s hut just five hours after placing the order to have it built. Now, one month later, we have had quite a flurry of enquiries and five confirmed bookings for the 2012 season. All the fives!
The monthly Killearn market is on again tomorrow, so let’s see how fast news travels this time…
Edit … I’ve just gone through the calendar counting up nights booked and it’s not five, it’s six. Not such a round set of numbers but frankly I’d rather have the bookings than round numbers!
This time last year we didn’t have any bookings yet for the season ahead. Right now, we’re doing quite well. Looks like 2012 is going to be a busy year.
