By car
You can use this Google Map to get directions to the Shepherd’s House Bed and Breakfast. Click on the blue flag in the map and, when the speech bubble appears, select ‘Directions’. Then enter a starting point from anywhere in the UK to get directions to our door.
If you use sat nav, you can use our postcode G63 0AW as a destination, however this may not be very accurate due to our remote location. If your system can navigate via co-ordinates, our precise location is 56.122926,-4.596491.
On foot: The West Highland Way
We offer guests walking the West Highland Way a free collection at approx. 7.30pm from the red phone box outside the Rowardennan Hotel plus return at 9.00am the following morning, provided you book it in advance with us. We are not able to operate lifts on demand or travel to other destinations. When planning your holiday, you should allow for the fact that the east lochside is very remote and we are located more than three miles from the nearest restaurant and bus stop.
By bus and taxi
Bus service 309 connects with national rail at Alexandria and terminates at Balmaha. It operates every 90 minutes throughout the day. For transfers between Drymen or Balmaha and the Shepherd’s House, please contact Drymen Taxis on 01360 660077 – booking your taxi well in advance is essential.
